Joe Hart
Touched the ball seven times in the first half, and didn't have to make a save. Touched the ball six times in the second half and still didn't have to make a save. Given the atrocious fortune suffered by English goalkeepers in the past week, Roy Hodgson will be content with such tedium.

Nathaniel Clyne
Noticeably quiet during the first half, if that's not an oxymoronic phrase. While Leighton Baines pushed forward on the left-hand side, Clyne dutifully stayed back - that did seem a shame given his adventure in his early England showings. Grew in confidence during the second half, with Lithuania's lack of ambition to cross the halfway line giving him licence to move forward. As if to prove that fact, 56% of Clyne's first-half passes were in the opposition half, compared to 71% after the break.
